Ginevra
Geneva, in south-western Switzerland on Lake Geneva and the Rhône, is the country's second largest city. It is the capital of its canton and an important financial centre. Geneva hosts the headquarters of many international organisations, including the UN and the WHO. The city attracts visitors with its cultural diversity, with almost half of its residents holding no Swiss citizenship. It has a temperate climate, with mild winters and warm summers, which makes spring and autumn ideal times to visit.
